About

Hi! I am Melissa Yeo. I have been a special education teacher since 2011. I have years of experience working in and out of the classroom with teachers, administrators, specialists, service providers, and therapists. My passion for helping schools and teachers understand how to design instruction so that ALL children can access their education based upon their unique needs has been a major focus throughout my career.

After stepping out of the classroom in 2021 to care for my young children, I found myself missing being able to advocate for children in schools. Thus, Guide & Grow was born to be able to support families through the intricate IEP process.

Initial Consultation

This will be our first conversation together to get a feeling for how I can help you, what your needs are, and to get the best understanding of your situation.

Student Records & IEP Review

This option includes a 30 minute initial consultation, a review of your student's most recent IEP and Eligibility Reports, and a 30 minute follow up session. It will help to prepare you for your next IEP meeting.

Full Support & Meeting Attendance

This option includes a 30 minute initial consultation, a review of your student's most recent IEP and Eligibility Reports, a consultation prior to IEP, attendance at IEP meeting, and a follow up debrief after the meeting. This service will offer you support, advocacy throughout the entire process.
